This GSISOA Website Policy, Privacy Policy, Terms of Use and Membership Subscription (Refund & Cancellation) Policy was formulated and approved by the Council of the Geological Survey of India Scientific Officers’ Association (GSISOA) in exercise of the powers vested in it under the Constitution and Bye-laws of the Association for the administration and regulation of the official GSISOA Website and Membership Portal.
Confirmation by the General Body
The Policy, as approved by the Council, was subsequently placed before the General Body of GSISOA and was duly confirmed and ratified vide Resolution No. GBM-03/WP/2026 adopted at the General Body Meeting held on 02 March 2026 under Item No. – GSISOA Website and Membership Portal.
The General Body thereby accorded its approval to the establishment, operation and administration of the official GSISOA Website and Membership Portal and confirmed the authority of the Council to administer, implement, amend and regulate policies relating thereto in accordance with the Constitution and Bye-laws of the Association.
Certificate of Adoption
Certified that this GSISOA Website Policy, Privacy Policy, Terms of Use and Membership Subscription (Refund & Cancellation) Policy has been duly approved by the Council of GSISOA and subsequently confirmed by the General Body in accordance with the Constitution and Bye-laws of the Association.
This Policy is hereby issued for implementation through the official GSISOA Website and Membership Portal. The Council may issue administrative instructions, operational guidelines, clarifications and amendments from time to time for effective implementation of this Policy.
Commencement
This Policy shall come into force with immediate effect from the date of its approval by the Council of the Geological Survey of India Scientific Officers’ Association (GSISOA) and shall remain in force unless and until amended, revised, modified, superseded or repealed by the competent authority under the Constitution and Bye-laws of the Association.
Saving Clause
Nothing contained in this Policy shall override or supersede the Constitution and Bye-laws of GSISOA, resolutions of the General Body or Council, or any applicable law, rule, order or instruction governing the functioning of the Association.
In the event of any inconsistency, the Constitution and Bye-laws of GSISOA shall prevail.
